Paid Audiology Externship

Willamette ENT is a fast-paced ENT practice where you will get the chance to build strong diagnostic and treatment skills. We are a well-established, full-service ENT practice serving Salem, OR and the surrounding areas. Willamette ENT currently employs six otolaryngologists, two physician assistants, and five full-time audiologists.
Our fourth-year audiology externship offers exposure to diverse audiologic cases across the age range. It will include opportunities to complete diagnostic testing including behavioral audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, visual reinforcement audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, and otoacoustic emissions; selection, fitting, and verification of hearing aids. Our clinic’s primary focuses are diagnostics and hearing aids (traditional and osseointegrated) with additional limited opportunity for cochlear implant evaluations, activations, and mapping. Qualified candidates should have a solid foundation in diagnostics and amplification services.
