Award winning practice Texas ENT & Allergy (a division of physician-led organization ENT Specialty Partners*) seeks part and full-time Audiologists to work at the Bryan-College Station and Huntsville locations in central Texas.**
As the Audiologist you’ll join a collaborative and fast-paced team in a clinical setting providing diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitative audiological services to patients of all ages.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides rehabilitative audiological services. Administers and interprets audiological tests, develops a treatment plan, and establishes goals for each patient. Monitors progress of recommendations and treatment plans and reassesses as appropriate.
- Calibrates equipment, prepares related reports, and maintains the audiological suite, materials, and supplies.
- Communicates with patient and family and provides counseling when appropriate.
- Provides case management services and makes client referrals to other social or health service agencies.
- Logs procedures and submits charges to the department secretary for submission to the billing department.
- Writes evaluation reports and daily progress notes on a timely basis.
- Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge in field of audiology. Prepares and presents in-service education to staff and the community.
- Assists in implementing and monitoring the department’s quality assurance program.
- Assists in supervising student interns.
