Hearing Instrument Specialist

Diablo Hearing Services is a dynamic and compassionate private audiology practice seeking a full or part-time Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team in San Ramon, CA!

About the Position:

• See all ages including adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
• Perform standard audiometric testing, hearing aid consultations, fitting, follow up care
• Select, fit, and verify hearing aids, accessories, and assistive devices
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hearing aids
• Collaborate with manufacturers and other vendors for training/support
• Provide custom hearing protection consultations and fittings
• Complete chart notes and written reports for patient appointments
• Nurture relationships within the community
• Collaborate with teammates and jump in when additional support is needed
• Optional professional development opportunities include gaining hands-on experience in private practice operations

Qualifications:

• Current California Hearing Instrument Specialist state license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Compensation:

• $36–$44/hour + commission
